Region: Graves, Bordeaux, France |
Grape Varieties: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot |
Vinification: Traditionally vinified in vats with gentle fermentation, then aged in contact with wood on fine lees for 18 months with 30% new barrels |
Tasting Notes: |
A dense and lively color, with an intense red color. Marked by a proportion of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, this wine advances complex aromas of spices, black fruits and sweet oak. On the palate, the attack is delicate with the presence of a harmonious, melted and greedy woodiness. The tasting continues with fine and spherical tannins giving the wine an incredibly velvety texture. Black fruits, notes of grilled hazelnuts, vanilla and mocha perfectly describe the aromatic richness. With a good length in the mouth, this is an example of balance and finesse. Excellent aging potential when mature. |
