Grape Varieties: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

Alcohol: 13.5%

Vinification:

Matured in oak barrels for 24 months, without sulphur dioxide or any chemical products. Bottled without filtration.

Tasting Notes:

A beautiful ruby colour with copper tones. Very concentrated aromas of red berries.

In the mouth it is rounded and full with a dense yet supple texture. Soft and smooth final notes. This is an elegant wine.

A delight of a wine: fine and delicate with just enough rounded tannins to coat the palate with a soft, silky flavour.

Winery Story

Chateau le Puy Cotes de Francs, Bordeaux, France (Biodynamic Certified)

Since 1610, Chateau Le Puy's vineyards have not been affected by any chemicals. The winery practices ‘ organic ’ and ‘ biodynamic ’ viticulture. They worked on "sulphur-free" wines since 1990 and avoided to add any extra yeasts or sugars. When the time comes to bottle the wines, we ensure that the process takes place in the middle of the lunar cycle and without any filtration. The bottles are corked and protected by a wax seal.
